How is it applied?

Q.  How much of a shine will it put on the floor?

A.  Each coat that you apply will raise the shine by a 30% gloss level. If your floor is dull, then it will look like more of a satin like finish with the first coat. By applying a second coat, you will achieve a beautiful shine.

Q.  How can you remove it?

A. To remove this product, use Laminate Deep Scrub and a mild abrasive scrub pad. This process may have to be repeated to completely remove the Lamanator Restoration. However, if you are going to re-apply the Restore product, there is no need to completely remove the original application of Restore as it will blend.

Q. What is the ingredient that makes the LamanatorPlus products so beneficial for restoring my laminate or hardwood flooring?

A.  It is a 20% solid thermal plastic acrylic.

Q.  What does the LamanatorPlus line of products actually do to improve the look & wearability of my laminate and hardwood flooring?

A.   It helps hide scuffs, scratches and stops tracking. It also helps seal (coat) the joints and helps prevent peeling.

Q.  Should you put any of the Illaminate products on a newly installed laminate or hardwood floor?

A.  Yes, the LamanatorPlus System is excellent to use on a new laminate floor. Our LamanatorPlus restoration products coat the joints between the floor boards, which helps prevents water from seeping in and causing the joints to peak. Our products also make cleaning easier and will brighten up the colors in the wood.

Q.  How long does does an application of your LamanatorPlus Floor Restoration Products last?

A.   Normally, we would recommend a minimum of one year between applications, depending on the amount of traffic to the area. It could very well be longer before another application is needed!

Q.  Can you use any of your LamanatorPlus restore products on hardwood or other types of floors?

A. Yes, the restore and buff cleaner products can also be used on pre-finished hardwood, bamboo and cork floors. The Deep Scrub stripper can be used on other floors to remove unwanted substances or to remove the LamanatorPlus Restore product if desired.

Q.  How can you remove the LamanatorPlus Restore product?

A.  Laminate Restoration is simple to remove! Just use Laminate Deep Scrub and a mild abrasive scrub pad.

Q.  Sometimes there are two different sheens from one box of flooring to another. Will this product even out the discrepancies?

A.  Yes, it will make the sheen level the same when one box is different from the other. There has been a lot of this problem, but Lamanator Plus will take care of it.

Q.  How is it applied?

A.  It is very easy to apply, unlike urethanes, etc. Everything is done using a spray bottle. First you spray the floor with Deep Scrub and allow it to sit for 3 minutes. Then agitate with the scrub pad that is in the two in one mop package. After mildly agitating, you switch to the micro fiber mop...this is an important part. Get the floor cleaned well enough that your pail of water turns clear from the final rinse. Then when you use the Restoration or Deluxe, it will not only adhere perfectly to the floor, but your floor will also be so clean and beautiful that it will shock your eyes. Then use the micro fiber mop and the Restoration product. Mist product on the mop first and then on the floor. Spread evenly and allow it to dry for 20-30 minutes. Apply second coat, and presto, you are done! Maintain your floors from this point using Lamanator Buff Dry.
