Q.  How much of a shine will it put on the laminate floor?

A.  Each coat that you apply will raise the shine by a 30% gloss level. If your floor is dull, then it will look like more of a satin like finish with the first coat. By applying a second coat, you will achieve a beautiful shine.

Q.  How can you remove it?

A. To remove this product, use Laminate Fresh Start and a mild abrasive scrub pad. This process may have to be repeated to completely remove the Lamanator Restorer. However, if you are going to re-apply the Restoration product, there is no need to completely remove the original application of Restoration as it will blend.

Q. What is the ingredient that makes the LamanatorPlus products so beneficial for restoring my laminate or hardwood flooring?

A.  It is a 20% solid thermal plastic polymer.

Q.  What does the LamanatorPlus line of products actually do to improve the look & wearability of my laminate and hardwood flooring?

A.   It helps hide scuffs, scratches and stops tracking. It also helps seal (coat) the joints and helps prevent peeling.

Q.  Should you put any of the LamanatorPlus products on a newly installed laminate or hardwood floor?

A.  Yes, the LamanatorPlus System is excellent to use on a new laminate floor. The LamanatorPlus Fresh Start will remove the factory overspray that is on all new floors.  This oily & sticky residue attracts dirt causing your floors to not only look bad, but also makes them very difficult to maintain. Our LamanatorPlus restoration product coats the joints between the floor boards, which helps prevents water from seeping in and causing the joints to peak. Our products also make cleaning easier and will brighten up the colors in the wood.

Q.  How long does does an application of your LamanatorPlus Floor Restoration Products last?

A.   Normally, we would recommend a minimum of one year between applications, depending on the amount of traffic to the area. It could very well be longer before another application is needed!

Q.  Can you use any of your LamanatorPlus Restoration product on hardwood or other types of floors?

A. Yes, the restore and maintenance cleaner products can also be used on pre-finished hardwood, bamboo and cork floors. The Fresh Start stripper can be used on other floors to remove unwanted substances or to remove the LamanatorPlus Restoration product if desired.

Q.  Can you use this product on laminate or wooden countertops?

A.  Yes, this product works great on laminate and wooden countertops. Simply apply it just as you would to the floor.

Q.  Sometimes there are two different sheens from one box of flooring to another. Will this product even out the discrepancies?

A.  Yes, it will make the sheen level the same when one box is different from the other. There has been a lot of this problem, but LamanatorPlus will take care of it.

Q.  How is it applied?

A.  It is very easy to apply, unlike urethanes, etc. Everything is done using a spray bottle. First you spray the floor with Fresh Start and allow it to sit for 3 minutes. Then agitate with the scrub pad that is in the two in one mop package. After mildly agitating, you switch to the micro fiber mop...this is an important part. Get the floor cleaned well enough that your pail of water turns clear from the final rinse. Then when you use the Restoration, it will not only adhere perfectly to the floor, but your floor will also be so clean and beautiful that it will shock your eyes. Then use the micro fiber mop and the Restoration product. Mist product on the mop first and then on the floor. Spread evenly and allow it to dry for 20-30 minutes. Apply second coat, and presto, you are done! Maintain your floors from this point using LamanatorPlus Floor Cleaner.

Q.  Will this product make the floor more slippery?

A.  No, LamanatorPlus will not change the traction of the floor once it is fully cured (about 12 hours).

Q.  Will LamanatorPlus remove wax from my laminate floor?

A.  Yes, LamanatorPlus will remove wax from laminate floors. If the wax has been used repeatedly on the floor it may be necessary to clean the floor twice with the Fresh Start, however, this is usually not necessary.
